Check engine after BOV install

I recently installed an HKS SQV BOV on my 1998 S70 T-5. Everything is working fine, but the check engine light has come on. Any ideas as to the cause of this? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Did you install a block off plate for the OEM bypass valve?
Did you get the code pulled?
