I, like many others have had my fair share of the dreaded Check Engine Light woes. And it was getting worse. My son was going away to school and was getting desperate. Kept throwing the Evap error code.

Considered disconnecting/removing light.But it wouldn't pass Texas Emissions test.
Considered paying off tech running test. But was told it logs info into some computer in Austin.
Realized it was getting out of hand.

Finally had the fuel tank dropped. Some little vacuum hose (he didn't get the name but how many can there be?) supposedly had several "pinholes". Replaced the hose and 'goodbye light'!!! No complicated procedure, waiting for the temp to drop into the 50's, or the like. Just blissful darkness at the Check Engine light location.
