Cruise Controll not working (need help)

how is it not working?
what if you turn the cruise control on, set it at a speed by using the "SET" button..
Then as you keep cruising your speed should drop as you say it's not working, then try pumping the accelerating pedal a couple of times quickly and see if the cruise control would start working again?
if it does, then the accelerator linkage, throttle body etc. are probably gummed up, let us know how the test goes...

In the 850 models there is a common problem with vacuum lines.
