Cruise Problem and Road Noise
Hello,
I have a pretty big problem I guess and i just would like to know a way to go about this and take the next step.
Ok, the issue. I get a lot of road noise. I do not know what it's from, it may not even be road noise, my dad says the sound is coming from the engine bay. I thought it may be because my tires are old, and each time i reach around 50 mph, the noise rumbles really loud, but whenever i'm on the freeway and have to veer left, the sound goes away. Like switching lanes to the left.
I thought that the back right tire was the issue, (it's treads are pretty much gone because i had to get a used tire to use until i get a new set of tires), but then, my cruise control started to turn off whenever I veered left.
I feel that this may be more of an issue than just some old tires. I will be getting new tires this weekend, but I have an inkling that i would be wasting my money.
What should I do?

So, I changed all 4 tires and found that the noise slightly went away but the cruise control and the turning left was still softer.
Later on I let my mech know about what I did and he decided to check the barrings and found that 2 barring mounts on the driver side were out of wack... i guess i do hard right turns alot and it wore down the barrings.
Changed the barrings + New Michelin Primacy MXV4 Tires = super quiet, smooth ride
