Default Road Noise

Hello Everyone,

I am a proud owner of a 2000 S70 T5. My baby is coming up to 150,000 Miles and recently I've been hearing a lot of road noise. I think it maybe due to the shocks being shot.

I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for new shocks.

I'm looking for a mid-priced, something somewhat firm ( come on! it's t5 xD ) but somewhat soft to so I don't hear as much road noise.

I enjoy riding my s70 around because to me, it feels pretty good.

Anybody got any recommendations for new shocks?

Are you sure it is not tires or a bad wheel bearing?

on my car, the tie rod ends were bad which ruined the tires. AFTER getting the suspension checked out, you should get an alignment and THEN get new tires, and of course have the wheels balanced. then the new tires will wear properly and stay quiet (and last longer)

i bought mine at tirerack.com

they have a really big selection and they have ratings on traction, road noise, and handling etc...

i went with the fuzion VRi's and there is almost no road noise.
