Default Cylinder 2 misfire

Got a code P0302 (cylinder 2 misfire) and cant figure it out. I switched out the ignition coil and spark plug, checked the injector o-rings (may need new ones). Compression should be good, (just had the head out and back in on suday). I drove it for a total at max 1 mile. Code keeps poping up. Its got a new intake manifold gasket, actually all the gaskets are new! Valves are straight as an arrow! Exhaust could probably be replaced but dont feel like dropping in new parts if its not going to correct the problem code.

Any suggestions? DidI miss something?

Thanks

Does it run rough and can you hear it putt out the exhaust?
If not, it just might have to be driven some to clear up,keep an eye on all the vitals.

Did you do all the Valve work?
Spray around the intake with either carb or brake cleaner with the car running checking for a vaccum leak.

its running rough and it does putt. the valves were fine. at idle it sound almost perfect but when I drive it it runs horrible. check engine lite flashes and the turbo does not want to engage. I'll check the intake for leaks to see what happens.

thanks guys.

I would still do a compression test.
I have seen valves ever so slightly bent and cause a problem.
Did you fill the combustion chamber with fluid and see if it leaked out the valves?
