Default Dipstick Leaking Oil?

My dipstick keeps popping out and spraying oil everywhere in my engine. It seems like there is some kind of pressure pushing it out causing it to spray every where?

Any one else have this problem?

Either the vent box or something in the vent system is clogged.

Ok had the pcv system totally replaced and some vacuum lines done. No more oil coming out but smoke still comes out of the dip stick when I take it out.

Is this normal?

You might have a real tiny bit coming out.
Also remember it might need to finish burning some off from before when it was clogged.

Don't spray to much water on the motor itself.
Try to wipe most of it off.

Oil is still coming out of the dipstick. Thats what the spray is. I was told my dipstick isnt the right one and it makes it pop out. Then when driving at higher rpms it sprays every where.

If it is poping out then something in the vent system is clogged causing to to pop out.

No not popping out just not sealing up right when you push it down.

It still should not blow oil like that. I agree with tech about the vent system clogged (flame trap?) causing the blowby.

I just had the vent box replaced (and all the lines) so it cant be clogged.

Get the right dipstick for it. You may need to buy a new tube as well.

Ok just order a new from fcp. Hopefully this solves my 3 month long journey to stop oil from leaking.

I bought an dip stick from fcp. It seems that the one they sent doesnt fit but a one from an 850 does fit. Why would this be?

Most likely because they should have sold you a tube as well.

Pretty easy one screw then swap the tube.
