Volvo S70 Made from 1998 to 2000, this sporty model replaced the 850 sedan and instantly became a hit.

Does anyone know the name of this part?

Can't really tell. Is it closer to the drivers side or passenger side? It is likely a plate or access to something in the motor that people never have to remove. You will probably need to just go the the salvage yard and pull one. The only other place you will be able to get one is a Volvo dealer parts department, if they sell them at all.

Looks like a cover on the transmission and that looks like trans fluid rather than engine oil. If you replace it, make sure nothing was damaged underneath it.

Salvage yard is your best bet to find the part.

ok, I'll look for that cover at U-pull it. Is there anything else I need to worry about that you can see besides the cover? That whiteish area just below the cover appears to be something that was broken off like a bracket of some sort, is that something of concern? If so, is that replaceable within a reasonable budget?
