98 S70, 143K. This has happened three times over the last 5-6 days. My (digital) odometer and trip odometer blank out and switch to dashes, the speedometer drops to zero and the "BRAKE" and "ABS" warning lights go on. There is no drop in RPM's and no other noticeable problems. It has happened anywhere between 65 and 25 mph and doesnt seem to be triggered by anything. It lasts for 5-10 seconds and then just goes away. Is this a sign of big trouble or just a $5 fuse??

 

Sounds like the ABS module is going out. Search those threads.

 

I agree with a bad ABS module. Common problem.
