Hello,I own an 2000 s70 Volvo,and just recently my ETS light can on.It stayed on for 1 day then iI put 89-octane gas in and the light went off.Any advice about having the car checked by the dealer.I know the ETS is on recall,but the light has not back on,WHAT DO I DO.

Did you have the recall done? It is good up to 200,000 miles.
If you did and the issue is something else, It could cost you.
I'd wait to see if the light doesn't come on again.

 

Have the codes pulled.

 

1. Check to be sure your recall was done.

2. If not have it done.

3. Also have the newest software update installed as well.

4. I agree with TECH and have the codes pulled.
