Gear shift ****

anyone knows how easy or hard this thing is to remove,I want to replace mine with a wooden ****.

If it's any thing like mine, I comes right off, on it's own, especially when I take a hard right !

Twist where the boot meets the ****.
Then straddle the center console and put it in nuetral. Then pull really hard.
But becareful not to smack your self in the head when it comes off!!!

These things are a pain to remove. In all honesty sometimes impossible, even with the way TECH suggested and his suggestion was right on.

I tried it once for fun and it wouldn't budge.
