Hello people,

I have a -97 S70 with really poor remote locking reception. I tried changing batteries in the remote but it didn't help.

So Im wondering if it's possible to improve the antenna range in the central locking reciever unit by soldering a cable to the actual antenna?

And I'd also like to know exactly where the unit located. I've heard it a black box under the dashboard mounted on top of the instrument cluster. Is this correct?

Has anyone done anything like this?
