FRONT STRUTS

RE: FRONT STRUTS
A little over a year ago, I had the passenger side strut mount replaced, as well as the left and right axle-halves (CV boots were bad and this was a cheaper fix apparently).
Since then, the drivers side strut mount has gone bad as well, and I'll be replacing this as well next week. My Volvo mechanic (Becker in Durham, NC) suggested I replace the swaybar links as well, as the socket portion of the linkage was cracking. Does this sound right to everyone else? Tech?
I'm at nearly 202k miles on the odometer now, and just had the timing belt taken care of as well. I haven't had much else done to the car other than brakes, tires, and oil changes in the last 70k, is there something else I should be looking for?

RE: FRONT STRUTS
I just had the stuts on our 99 V-70 with 107k replaced. It was a rough ride, rattling and skimming noise when turning etc. After the replacement it rides better and the steering is great but sometimes the rattle is still there in the turns. I am wondering if they replaced enough of the items that make up the whole package. Are the spring seats the same as the strut mount bushings? Looks very similar on the pictures on-line. Is it hard to replace the struts on these cars?
