My 99 S70GLT has a fuel line quick release coupling just in front of the fuel rail. It's just the 2 lines coming together, no wrench flats. The Haynes manual says to disconnect the quick-release fuel line coupling in front of the fuel rail using a 17mm spanner to push back the coupling . To me this means place the open end of a 17mm wrench on the smaller line, coming in from the left and push to the right to disconnect. Has anyone done this? Does it work? Or do will I need to use a special tool? Thanks.

 

You will need the fuel line disconnect tool.
