Default FYI on wheels

I had a 94 940t which was totaled and had a set of steels with snows on it. I read this post,https://volvoforums.com/forum/showth...ight=wheels%5C, so I took my car to take the tires off the steels and mounted on my stock wheels. While the car was on the lift I had him try to see if they would go on my 99 v70 and they fit perfect. I lost $20 and could have put them myself and they could have gone on last year but I followed what the forum said and it was not true. I guess my point is that you should always try something even if they say it doesn't work.

I'm not sure if there is a difference between the '93 wheels and '94's but I have seen a lot of 960 wheels on 850's. The offset may be different but they still work I guess. Not sure if it causes any damage or not.

I don't understand all the inset / off set stuff but I know I have seen cars that look so stupid with the wheels sticking out. And the other side of the problem would be the sheels not bolting on properly because they are hitting the caliper or rubbing lock to lock. If you don't have either of those problem, you are good to go.

The best part would be if you have both on hand and can try it yourself.

The wheels fit perfect. No obstructions of any kind and they sit on the car perfectly.
