Need some help =\

first off I have a 99 s70 t5, I turned it on today and the arrow gear light was flashing and the check engine light came on.. Looked inthe book and it said the flashing light was for the gear box but I turned the car off for a few mins and back on and now only the check engine light is showing.. Any ideas on this??
Please help out if you know anything about this..
