I have searched this forum for answers to this problem and found no reference to it.

The blower on my 9S70AWD speeds up when I put on the brake, but does not seem to adjust to maximum speed with the slider, though it does adjust.

Is this blower problem, resistor, or something other. Any answers or ideas appreciated.

 

The inside of my prestige range hood insert has a label that admonishes the regular cleaning of fans and filters. The removable baffle filters are easy enough...they pop into the dishwasher. But how does one even access the fans, much less clean them? Anybody know? Thanks.
