GLT Transmission Questions

Ok so I really dont want to get rid of it and get a T5 just for the transmission. If i buy a manual transmission clutch pedal new computer and shift **** assembly would it be that easy minus the install and cost?

If you're not going to do it yourself you may want to swap cars. However, it's hard to find a manual T5.
