Default Headlight stinks!!

I had this dim headlight problem since I bought the car years ago and I then purchased hids and its better but still stinks. The lenses are fog free and in great condition and that is why I don't know what else to do.

In car headlights, all the light has to go backward and bounce off the reflector. In this case, when the reflector is the problem, bulbs don't really make much difference.

I tried this and I'm very pleased with it, but it's certainly not high class:

New headlights are reasonably affordable, but I thought it would be more fun to try something innovative. I read some online reports from folks who tried different reflective paints and compared the results, but of course what you really need is a mirror.

I have glass as well. That is why its a problem. There isnt anything I can do unless I get a different lenses or the whole light bucket. I see some but 1, they are too expensive and 2 led want to be.

So you don't think it would be fun to fix the mirror, which is the bad part?

I finally fixed the lighting and a must for all of use Volvo owners. I took off the glass lenses, I used scotch-bright to smooth the plastic deflector surface, cleaned and used crylon chrome and let dry and I have super bright lights now. I would have never believed it would have worked but I was wrong.
