after disconnecting the battery on my 2000 s70 for replacing the interior blower & resistor, i reconnected the battery & all seemed to work fine. that is, until i put the wipers & fluid on to clean the windshield. both headlight wipers first stopped in the 12:00 position. then i took the key out of the ignition & after about 5 minutes started the car up again. the wipers returned to the normal start position without touching them. washed the windshield again & only 1 headlight wiper worked this time. this happened about 5-10 times. different wipers working, some both, some none at all. key out, key in, sometimes returned to starting position, sometimes took 3 tries. since the wipers both seem to move, i think the motors are okay. or are they? do these things need to be initialized in some way? any info would be appreciated.
