headlights won't go off
my husband and i each have a 2000 S70. we normally keep our daylight running lights on all the time, we used to be able to turn off our lights but no longer are able to, what could be causing this.
also, my husband just had his car serviced with no problems and now his brake lights don't work, fuses, bulbs and connections are fine, any ideas?

RE: headlights won't go off
Have you had the switches for the healights replaced lately?
There is a little hole in the bottom front of the switch. Use a small straight screwdrive and push slightly in on the screw and turn that will turn the daytime running lights off.
Most likely the brake light switch went bad.

tech i have another question for you.normally when a light goes out you get the little warning light bulb on the dash, we did not get this with the switch going bad, is that what is supposed to happen? we almost got rear ended because the guy behind us did not see brake lights and we had no idea they were not working.thanks
