High pressure A/C fitting on my 2000 volvo s70
so i just got this volvo s70, it was a salvation army car that i got for 4k w/ 173k miles and its in ok shape just had dirty interior and the front bumper has some scuffs and things. Everything works except the a/c, i am putting on a new compressor and dryer. I know where the low side fitting is located and i am trying to find the high side. Any help including pictures or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and so far its been a fun little car its the top of the line glt as well. how much hp does it make too?
A) glt is not top of the line, T-5's are higher, glt is in the middle. B) you looking at 190hp with the low pressure turbo. Also after you fix the car do a stage zero. I cant help you on the A/C since I dont know.
i just put a conical air filter from auto zone on the s70, it was 20 dollars and it fit right on the stock mass air, it dented it up a little when i had to use a little force to get the filter on there but first mod complete, my other mod was getting rid of the stock head unit because it wouldn't accept its code for some reason?
The stock setup with a k&n filter inseert is better than the cone filter.
Cone filter= sucking hot air.
Did you get the proper code?
Cone filter= sucking hot air.
Did you get the proper code?
yep, the dealership even said it was the same code. i just think it might have issues with it. i am just gonna sell it, putting in an aftermarket one was a piece of cake.
But did they use the serial number off the radio to look up the code?
Most of the time they will only look it up for the Vin # of the car.
