2000 S70 turbo, anyone know where I can get a new one? or is it only a dealer item?

 

seems I don`t need one after all, searched the forums and found an easy fix for the hood not wanting to open on one side, I added a furniture leg pad to the bump stop and now it opens fine

 

Post the link to where you found that please! haha i have to hold my latch to get put hood open, or sick something to hold it back :x

 

Do a search on hood release cable, several people talk about it, there are two solutions, one is to lower the hood latch, the other is to put something on the bump stop to make it thicker. both solutions causes preasure to be put on the latch so it pops the hood up.
