I have a new to me 2000 S70 with a transmission leak from an axle seal. I figure that I should replace the fluid too. The vin decodes say that it has a 4 spd automatic but the console configuration is for a 5 spd. As far as I can tell from the many pages on this topic, the two transmissions take different fluids. Does the transmission have model numbers cast in it that can identify it for me? What numbers correspond to which models?
