HOW MANY MILES DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR VOLVO?

So far I have 210k on my 1998 s70 glt

I just wanted to post this to see what others are at?

 

Just happened to stop in the S70 forum and saw this post. Hope its open to all Volvos.
I have been sitting on 102K for a few months. 2001 S60.

 

Wow that's a high yearly average...
I've got 168K+ on the '99 V70 GLT (though only the last few thousand were while I owned it)
I've also got ~151K on my '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse (bought brand new in Oct '99).

 

Hey 99VolvoC70 we almost have the same set of cars!
I've got 123,000 on my 2000 S70.
I've also got a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse with 99,000.

 

My R has 90k
My wifes 96 850 has 198k

 

My 95 850 253,000 , 97 850 135,000, 99 v70 189,000, 89 740 186,000

 

i have an s70 t5 with 95k

 

My S70 has almost 102 thousand miles, and it drives almost like new.

 

Wow, do you drive a lot or buy cars from people who drive a lot?

 

Nice... are you going to pop some champagne when you hit 100K? I joked around with my wife about her doing that when I hit 100K in my Eclipse, but she didn't do it. When I hit 150K, I wanted to take a picture of the dash going 150 mph, but a) I've never driven that fast, b) I hit 150K on a regular street not a drag strip, c) I'm not totally sure it could go 150, although I have done 135, many miles and years ago.

 

Here is a list of Volvo's I have owned and the miles I had/have on them:

85 760 Turbo Diesel 165K - Moved to Colorado and it just would not run right in the high altitude
89 760 Intercooler 135K - Only kept if for two years. Just didn't like it that much
94 850 Turbo 206K - Engine just went on me one day or I would still have it.
98 V70 GLT 125K and running great.
97 850 R 175K- Runs fine sometime and like crap other times. Looks great though.
95 850 T5R 145K - So far so good. Only had it about six months and no problems so far.

 

Yeah, I definitley want to take a picture when it does roll over. 150mph might be just a bit out of its reach but it is possibleif its completely tuned for racing. Or I'll just stop driving it at 99,999.

 

I wanted to be watching the odometer as my Accord surpassed the 200K mile mark. As is I was on the expressway and I glanced down only to see the odometer read 200000.3, I was bummed. The car didn't last to see any other milestone because I totalled it about 3 weeks later.

 

163,000 on my 960 (less than 80k on the engine)

Somewhere around 160,000 on my VW quantum

Both run excellent

98 s70 with 130k. I just bought it and haven't even put 1k on myself though.

 

99 V70 with 203k, still runs strong. Did a sustained runat 80-105 mph, for25 miles a few weeks ago on the Mass. Pike. My wife and friend didn't even notice. These cars are built for the Autobahn.

 

yeah they definitely are autobahn oriented. Whenever I drive through Wyoming or Idaho, I find myself frequently cruising between 80-90 on the flat, and occasionally touching 110 on the downhills. These cars are solid.

 

98 S70 GLT with 185648 miles on it and a 96 850 Turbo with 210006 on it. Both cars are as solid and consistent as the day they were made. No major problems save for your routine aging hose replacements and other minor things but nothing in the way of reliability. I've had Volvos all my life and will probably never drive anything else.
