Default How much boost is normal?

How much boost is "normal" in a 2000 S70 GLT SE? In other words, with all factory equipment, what should the boost gauge read during acceleration?

Well, that car did not come with a boost gauge but if you installed one, I believe the GLT's boost about 6.5 psi. they are low pressure turbo's.

any idea what max would be?
would a turbo from a T5 simply replace the factory low pressure turbo on GLT?

You can get a preformance chip/ecu from ipd or somewhere if you are looking for more power.

So, if i found a turbo from a S70 T5 and slapped it into my S70 GLT, is there anything else that would need to be upgraded to make it work properly? Or is it simply just a turbo swap?

So whats the better option here for higher performance? A performance chip for my existing stock GLT SE or a turbo and ECM swap from a T5?
