Default HPT in an S70 GLT

I have owned my S70 GLT for about a year, and I know the low pressure turbo is in the GLT and the high pressure turbo is in the T5. Does anyone know if a high pressure turbo in the GLT possible? If so, what else would need to be upgraded/replaced?
Thanks.

The turbo in the GLT is a 13G and the T5 is a 16T. Any TD04 turbo will work in any Volvo as a drop in plug n play. You can put in a 16T into a GLT if you want. I'm sure a lot of people have done it. I don't know if it would need a new tune or not. And you'll have to make sure the exhaust housings have the same DP flange.

Many people have done this. An easy swap...

supporting mods would be a upgraded downpipe to a 3" mandrel bent version and a 2.5" to 3" mandrel bent catback system with a free flowing straight through design muffler. Also an ECU isn't needed but it would benefit the upgrade.

If you get the ECU upgrade after dropping in the 16T, you'll probably need to get a couple joints, seals, and etc. upgraded to handle the pressure.

You sure they use different types of seals on the engines? If I put a 16T on an LPT engine, I wouldn't worry about the seals. The 16T is only a small upgrade from the 15G, so it's not like your going to be boosting a whole lot anyways.
