Exclamation I don't know much, help..I own a 1998 Volvo S70 and have lots of questions.

I need info..
I've been saving up for a while and i want to throw on a body kit on my car. I have looked everywhere on the net to find a kit for my car but can't find anything for my make and model, that actually looks cool. I read and found out that the S70 model and 850 model are made off the same frame. Would i be able to put i body kit from an 850 on my s70??

I cant answer that for sure but go to a wreckers maybe and grab an R kit off a V/C 70. The two have slightly different styling at the front.

1. Anything is possible.

2. Why would you downgrade to an 850 style bodykit?

3. Erebuini made an 850 kit and you can sometimes find them on Ebay. They are not made anymore, haven't been for sometime now.

You might have to change the whole front end and side panels to do this. Which would mean headlights and turn signals as well. Not sure, but IMO it isn't worth it. Plus it looks like crap. I have seen this kit in person and it is crappy.

4. If anything get a V70R front bumper (Viva Performance, Dealership). It will look much nicer then any Erebuni kit ever did.

5. HEICO front spoiler extensions. I have these and think they look nice.

6. Or go custom... Looking at big money though.

I haven't seen the V70 kit yet. I think the older 850 front end is bad ***. I know where to order one but i don't if it would fit. I prolly would spend more changing the side panel and all that. idk..

Above is the V70R front bumper. Much better then any 850 bumper and especially the Erebuni kit that was made for the 850's.

Also why would you go to all the work, just to downgrade your 70 series? If you wanted an 850 in the first place, just should have bought one.

That V70R front bumper should fit all 1998-2000 model 70 series Volvo's. So yes to answer your question.

FYI, to do the 850 bumper like I said you'd be looking at the bumper ($$$-$$$$), you'd be looking at more then likely the front quarter panels ($$$-$$$$) 850 headlight assemblies ($$$).

So to do it right you'd spend well over $1k probably and to do what just downgrade. I know it sounds like I am putting the idea down and with some force, but that isn't what I am trying to do. I am not trying to deter you from doing it.

All I am trying to say is, is that you'd be downgraded from a 70 series to an 850 series, which IMo doesn't make much sense to do. If you wanted the 850 look then an 850 should have been bought.

Also have you tried this website? Yes I know in another language.

http://www.realcar.se/servlet/us_pyr...loginguest&p=H

There is an English icon on the left hand side, you will see it. It's a flag.

This is their 70 series front bumper,

This would be a heck of an expense to import and also I know of no one in the states with one.

This is the rear part of their kit.

And their side skirts.

*Honestly I'd stick with the V70R front bumper as it will fit for sure and is a classic look and always looks great. And if your lucky and find it, you could get a CF lip for it.

Or you could try one of their splitters. Shown below.

Great info. Import kits look nice (especially front end) but would hate to find out £!!!'sss.
Do not stick the 850 kits on your 70....waste of time and effort in getting a 70 in the first place.

ya man, you make a good point. Plus i like the one in all these pictures. it has kits for 10k..way above what i can do. what's the wedsite for the one in the states?
i Got another question..sometimes ill come by parts that i want but i wanna be sure if it can actually fit in my car. i'll read the info things they got, but it's never specific enough. I have an automatic non turbo, it never says the part will fit and it never says it won't fit..What do i do adout that??
You prolly think i'm a dip...lawl.
