ah ic, well ill update this tmrw with what my new plans are, since you have given me alot of information to look over and decide apon. Thanks for your time. If you have some free time tmrw to check back, it would be apprecaited. As of the moment, I am thinking boost guage, pillar pod, in dash dvd(already on the way, did a trade) and the e-code turn lenses and get those blue/amber bulbs.

I will have time tomorrow or should yes.

Boost gauge good, A-pillar pod good (Single or Triple), E-codes do the headlight lenses and the turn signals. I would also do the Chrome Dipped bulbs instead of the blue bulbs. It looks much much cleaner.

The headlight lenses may not look different but they are. The beam pattern is totally different. Worth the money. And yes they will look like that. I posted pictures for you of what they looked like on my car.

*Some extra pics for you.

Oh BTW. There is s strut brace on Ebay. If you type in "Volvo Strut Brace". DO NOT buy it. It is a crappy design. So DO NOT buy it. IPD sells that same brace and it sucks.

ok, well here is the damage - (minus) anything minor
upper strut mount cracked - "$275" fix
check engine light is on becasue the air pump is not working - "$700" fix
slight L/F wheel bearing noise - "$340 fix
thats the major stuff. No of it needed emediate replacement, but I was wondering if I could do any of it myself and save a few hundred.

+ a ton of small things

You could do the strut mount. Just buy a new one from the dealership and put it in. Take your time. Ad for the CE Light let the dealership fix that and the Air pump. I wouldn't mess with it. A wheel bearing is something they should do as well.

If your confident that you can do it then do it. But if you mess up you may screw something else up and end up spending more.

It will be ok, but you can buy a Nice Autometer for much less. And the A-pillar pod link doesn't work. The link I am going to provide you is where you want to purchase the pod from, http://www.gaugepods.com/
Here is a more direct link to the Volvo pods, http://www.gaugepods.com/volvo.html
You can purchase a single pod or a triple pod.

I clicked your pod link again and did a search. Those pods might fit, but then again they may not. The ones from gaugepods.com will fit for a fact.

Also get your gauges from, http://www.egauges.com/
I have all Autometer gauges from them and they are great. I have the Phantom series they have plenty other series to choose from, http://www.egauges.com/ATM_main.asp

http://www.egauges.com/vdo_ind.asp?T...mp;PN=ATM-5703
" 30In Hg/30PSI 2 1/16 BOOST $79.37 $46.90"
*Their price is the $46.00

the pod link again. that one works. I would buy it from guage pod but they only have single and triple, no double pods.
for the guages I just like the ones on the site link I posted. I did take a look a eguages, but the ones i like are around $60 or $70 or way more.

Well to stay within your budget you could get some nice Autometers that are much better then glowshift. You could get three gauges for $150.

And like I said before that pod may fit, but seriously I wouldn't trust it that much. Not to mention that the ones from gaugepods match your interior.

Seriously man if you want better light output you have to pay up. You can get a set of HID's for $125 from MyDepots. They are on Ebay and have their own website as well.

You can find a lot of info and pictures of their kits here, http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/Xenon...ed-t69170.html

However you don't get a LIFETIME warranty on them. Only about a 14 month warranty. Thusly this is why I suggest SharpHID.com because the service the guality and the ease of install not to mention the LIFETIME warranty is well worth the exspense. I had hard time letting go of $260 for HIDs, but after I did it was day and night compared to the OEM Sylvania Osrams and then the Sylania Silverstars. Totally night and day. John at SharpHID is a great person to deal with. A++ service.

well heres how it breaks down, to start
dvd player install is gonna be around $100
then I decided to get just one guage, maybe going with this one or the glowshift, or possibly the ones you showed me, although I couldnt find any that were less than $60. Then to install I might have my friend do it or a shop(who know how much that will cost)
As for bulbs, many of the interior and exterior are out, so yeah dunno how much it sgonnad be to get those. For teh HID's I dunno, I dont really wanna spend $100 dollors for bulbs, I understand what your saying with, you really par for what you get, so cheap is cheap adn exspensive is quality.

So tahts basically what I am going to be doing for now. Will get e-code lens for the headlights, but teh turn signals were sold out.

*Well the one I showed you the Phantom series Autometer gauge was $46.00

*With HIDs your not just getting bulbs. Your getting bulbs, ballasts and the wiring harness. I'm not saying the $125 HIDs are crap, the warranty sucks. That is why I push you to buy from SharpHID.

When you order HID's you pick the H7 bulbs and the color temp you want. Like I said I wouldn't go above 6000K. I would go 5000K, this is what I have.

Yes they will. You will have to do some work though, but wont take you long at all.
