key will not come out if ignition

1998 S70 key is stuck in ignition. any ideas? thanks

Make sure that when it is in park, the shifter button comes out all the way. If it doesn't release fully (they do tend to stick), the key will not pull out.

I have the same problem on my 98 S70.

1+ With Steven. Not sure why that happens. The buttons can be replaced to cure the problem.

+2 with Steven. IPD I think sells the shifter button kits. Until you get one, wiggling the shifter button lightly will usually free up the stuck key.
