Last weeks version of "My Summer of Volvo Repair" was to replace the driver side door stop. That went well and quick. Started putting door back and discovered that the green glue was no longer "glue". Does liquid Nails hold up well in this application?

Now, the real problem - discovered that the doorlocking mechanism is shot. Might get some movement outta it - but mostly it just sits there.

Aftermarket scares me unless someone has experience with the specific part. What is the experience of you folk?

It is for C70, but could be similar. Anyway, I am curious if S70 OEM door lock actuators also need separate relays, and can I use any after market ones?
