Default MAF? or ETM?

Hi I installed my new XemodeX ETM last night and it ran just fine up until tonight driving home from dinner. From the installation until tonight the car ran beautifly like it should, and better then before. Before, the ETS and check engine lights were on, once installation was done they shut off. Tonight when I started it both came back on. Immediately after start the engine revved to 3500 for 3 or 4 seconds, then dropped to 900 and idled very rough. When driving the acceleration was extremely slow, if it did at all. The ETS light came off but engine light is back on. Could it be how I installed it? It's not backwards, new gasket is on and the air duct is completely installed. Or could it be bad. Or do you think it's the MAF? Im leaning more towards the MAF being bad, since i have read that it's possible for that to go with the ETM. The engine was hot, if that matters.
