1999 Volvo V70 etm, po236, po238, MAF, evap
Maybe someone can help me. I have a turboed volvo wagon. ets light is on. i have boost codes 236 and 238. and a MAF code. I have so far replaced the MAF sensor. Symptoms are still the same and include.
failure to idle.
limp mode.
and one time i got it to drive but it stumbled in low rpms.
i know i probably need an etm and am prepared to purchase and install a xemodex. I am tight on funds and would like to take care of other cheaper issues such as boost sensors and MAP sensor if they could possibly remedy my problem. would a Map sensor be at fault for any of these etm issues? or possibly the boost sensors? like i said I have only addressed the MAF sensor but it did nothing and still have the code up after disconnecting the battery. I am going to look for vacuum leaks as well today. etm has yellow sticker. Any advice? should i replace MAP and boost sensor. or is it purely the etm making all these codes come up? also i am wanting to know what part is located directly to the right of the intake manifold. It is a plastic connector for some vacuum lines. It is connected to the intake manifold by a three inch piece of hose.
