mass air filter

Can I replace my factory MASS AIR FLOW meter, with a cordone rebuilt aftermarket, What may be the downside to this?

You could but it might not be 100%.
The OEM one is a Bosch sensor.
You could try it but I really haven't messed much with the Cardone on the Volvo's.
