Default Mysterious sound

Hi
I just got this 99S70 and had to replace the front struts. After I did , I got this sound a min after I started the car that lasted about 1-2 min then stopped.
The sound is as if a pump is running. Its coming from under the hood, driver side, above the brake caliper.
Near the area of the strut assembly. Don't know what this could be.
Thank you .
Paul~

my quick guess would be its the vacuum pump that helps build brake vacuum when the engine first starts up. My 2000 S40's vacuum pump makes a "vrrrrt-vrrrt" noise after start up - does that sound like yours?
