So tonight I changed my mass airflow meter. After I finished snapping on my airbox, I was amazed to see little sparks. The sparks are coming from the small box under the fuse panel. There is a wire that is attached to this box and whenever I move the wire around and it comes in contact with anything, these little blue sparks happen. They look like little lightning bolts. Anyone know what the problem is????

 

Sounds like you have a bad wire going to your coil. You may want to replace it.

 

The positive cable in the fuse box or the fuse box itself might need to be replaced.

 

Okay, does the wire attach to the fuse box itself? if so, Tech's suggestion is the likely culprit. Or does this wire attach to the ignition coil (a part bolted to the strut tower, should have 2 wires, one red and one blue, going out of it to a black piece on the same bracket, with a thick black cable (the one you see sparks coming from) that runs over to the engine, specifically the distributor cap. If THAT is where you see the sparks, you need to change your spark plug wires post haste.
