I have two questions today. First, I am wanting to run a bov. Where and how would I install it to the stock pipes? Second, I just recieved my dual stage mbc from 3 bar racing (formerly dawes device brand) and am confused as to how to hook it up. Was i supposed to buy something else that the guys over at 3 bar racing assumed I already had? Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

For the BOV you have a few options.

1. Is your car manual or automatic? If it is automatic the BOV will only go off if you let off the gas.

2. I highly suggest you run an HKS SSQV or TIAL BOV.

3. You have a couple options to attach the BOV to your car.

A. Buy an Aluminum flange and have it welded to your Upper Intercooler Pipe. The one that goes over the engine. Attach the BOV to it and run a vaccum line.

B. Purchase the SAMCO hose from Viva Performance and attach the SAMCO BOV or fab a way to attach an HKS SSQV or TIAL BOV to it and run a vaccum line to it.

No worries. I was probing around under my hood and I found a purple vacuum line. It runs from what I want to call my wastegate to the vaccum tree. Is this what I have to plug and re-routeto hook upmy bov? I could be totally wrong, but I could really use somr input.
