Thanks for the info on the rattle TECH mann, will check it out tomorrow.
I am going to do my brakes and a cracked rotor, any suggestions on aftermarket brands, should I APPLY product to prevent sqeaking, should I buy ceramic, do I put shims in the rear. Any info is appreciated.

JC, there are a bazillion posts on brakes. Most important is to apply either caliper grease or "anti-squeal" to the stainless shims re: the rear brakes.

 

I always use silicone brake grease on all the brake pads I do.

Me myself I like the Volvo pads.They are a little soft but stop the car great.
