You def. got your self a little gem..... THE first thing I would check is the timing belt and tensioner. If you don't know when it was replaced, then I would just replace as insurance. Some also will do the water pump since you are already there. Then go over thee basics, like coils, sparkplugs, air filter, cabin filter, accessory belt, transmission fluid and don't forget the PCV system ( I would check 2nd) to make sure it's not clogged. That could lead to more expensive things down the road( rear main seal)..... Post pics of your car when you get a chance. Welcome to the forum.

Man, I'm jealous too! I've been looking for a clean '98 S70 w/low miles; very hard to come by around here! Did you get this one from a private party or used car dealer?

Oil: I like Valvoline 10-30W Premium motor oil; better is the Valvoline Racing oil or Kendall motor oil (but i can't find the latter two easily so i go with the first one). I am old school, haven't gone the synthetic route as yet.

Very nice. Looks like the one we picked up in the spring. Love it.

Check your air filter & cabin filter. I could not believe how clogged up our cabin filter was. Check your mounts, upper and lower, if they are bad you will see cracks and splits. If the lower mount is bad it will shift hard.

hehe just be really careful, and don't worry about making it a little diluted. then a soft bristle brush and an hour or two and your leather looks brand new. feels softer too.

i'd definitely recomment putting on soem leather conditioner afterwards, though.
