Default new to me s70 1998

Got my car recently, love its simplicity.
It will be my spare/long distance car on days off.
Already have owned 04 s60, 02 s60 awd, 04 c70 son has it now, wife has 11xc60
My daily is a EV smart.

So my s70 is 5 speed NA and is very clean
Added radio, urethan subframe inserts, strut brace and e brake cables
About to add High volttage Ignition coil.

Would like better headlights, my c70 has jewels
and have the pesky evap small leak code, need to drill the rivits and fix it next.

Any suggestions for me would be appreciated.

I'm with you on the evap code. It hasn't been a priority. The 98's are very easy to work on.

I feel dumb admitting this, but after looking at some options to get a fresh mirror on the headlight reflectors, I covered them with a layer of monokote chrome decal material. It's been 3 years and still looking very good. $3 US gets a piece of chrome decal big enough to do a whole car, and I had to cut it in to many small pieces so that I didn't get a wrinkled result. It took about 30 minutes.

If light doesn't reflect off a mirror in there, you won't get any light on the road ahead. Don't be tempted to solve it without adressing the reflector.

Update on evap code, autozone gas cap, POS, put old cap back on, seems ok
I also replaced many vac lines and used vac hose to replace hard line to fitting piece, many were very spongy
Evap canister seems ok.

My cruise did stop for no reason, and broke brake switch trying to test and check things, ordered new one
