New oil sludge ...
I checked my oil dipstick the other day, and there was sludge on it. I've never had the problem before. I also noticed that my oil was very low. I added a quart that I happened to have around. I drove it around for a bit, but it's been 2 weeks since I checked on it.
Today, I didn't see any sludge on the dipstick. Last time, sludge came up after I checked the stick and after each time I put it back. Everything seems normal now ...
My friends were talking about the the marvel mystery oil, so I put in 16oz of that and another quart of oil.
My records show that I changed the oil 2000 miles ago. My car has 141k miles. Is it normal for it to burn so much oil so fast?

So, did you over fill it? You said you added a quart, then added mystery oil and another quart of oil. I'm confussed.
What did ths "SLUDGE" look like? Did you take a picture of it? When you added oil the 1st time and did not see any SLUDGE after that, why are you still messing with it?

A quart maybe 2 weeks ago, 1/2 quart mystery oil and a quart of oil. That's 2.5 quarts. It was very low before I added the oil the first time. I was guessing that was part of the reason why the sludge was there.
The sludge was clumpy rather than just think goo.
I ran the mystery oil thru for good measure.
