Has anyone thought of using the new flip key for the s70?

 

I don't think it can be programmed to the car.

 

damn....thanks....but is there any third party programmers who can make it happen? It would be cool to have the flip key just cus its flip key. thanks

 

It would be cool but I don't think the chip will work at all for the S70.

Besides that not many places besides the dealer can program a key anyways.

 

although the flip key is very creative and could quite possibly be used to fend off a drunken carjacker who thinks its a switchblade, i thought that the flip keys made by volvo seemed kinda bulky when actually in the ignition. i prefer the smaller regular keys. i also talked to a guy at a volvo dealership when my mom got her s80 and he didnt think there were any possiblities of making s70 flip key "compatible". so basically what tech said
