Hello All,

Today I bought my first Volvo and I am really happy/ It is a 98 S70 87,00miles. They car runs great however there is something that got me a lttle concerned. When I turn the wheels to the left all the way, I get a bad rattle noise coming from the left side. To me it sounds like the CV joint boot broke and is running out of grease. If this is it... If is making this noise, does this mean that the CV joint went bad already? Also everytime I turn the car on the serive light turns on and stays on for about 4 min then it turns off any suggestion? Has anynody experinced this?

Pretty much for what it will cost you to repair the boot and/or the joint you can almost buy the entire Axle.

Usually when it is clicking when turning yes it is bad already.
