Default Next steps in my cars performance

Was looking for some advice if this would work. My car is a 99 s70 na. I was thinking about getting an r manifold, a 16t turbo, intercooler and necessary plumbing, ecu from a 99 glt, bigger fuel injectors and for the oiling of the turbo a sandwich spacer between the oil filter and the engine with an oil cooler installed as well. Would this work at all on my car and what other parts am I forgetting about to make this work.

My other idea is to just keep it NA and get the OBX header for it and the RICA tuning chip offered for the NA at eurosport tuning.

Nice idea but more work then your making it out to be.

1. 1999+ ECU's are married to the car. Thusly you cannot just take a 1999 turbo model ECU and put it in yours and have it work.

2. Your going to need more then a turbo, intercooler, oil lines, manifold and injectors...

- Turbo
- Intercooler
- Intercooler hard pipes
- Turbo (Silicone hoses)
- Vacuum lines (Silicone)
- Downpipe (3", mandrel bent)
- Catback (2.5" to 3", mandrel bent with free flowing muffler)
- Hose clamps or T-bolt clamps
- Injectors
- Major ECU tuning (A RICA tune wont work. You'll have to find a DYNO tuner to tune it for you)
-Etc...

To do this right your looking at spending $3k plus more like a good $5k. Honestly sell the N/A but a turboed model and mod it from there. Best advice to you.

If you really want to do performance upgrades to your N/A:

-intake
-exhaust
-end...

That's really about it, and the gains from that aren't anything special.

Agreed with both posters above

If you really wanna mod, sell and get the turbo'ed s70...

you cant really add anything to the NA, except exhaust and test pipe, but you'll barely feel the difference.. but it'll sound nice depending on the exhaust.

For all the money you're looking to spend in turboing this car you probably could just sell what you have no and look into an 850 t-5r

And if you keep it and decide to keep it na I wouldn't bother tuning it, not worth the money and minimal performance gains
