Default No air coming out.

Hello-

I have a 2000 Volvo, S70 and the blow motor does not work properly. I can feel the cold air if I place my hands close to the dash, but it does blow air out. It blows air out when the engine turns on at the begining for few seconds and then it stops flow air out. A/C system does works sometimes suddenly (there is cold air coming like normal). The recycle button and a/c off button lights flash for some seconds when the engine first turns on. I check the manual if says system has problem and should let dealer check it out.

It seems to me the a/c compressor is fine since I can feel coldn air and sometimes works fine suddenly although it does not blow air out for most of time. I just guess a sensor or a relay that related to blow motor. Is there anyone has any idea where to start look at?

Thanks,

Jim

Most likely the Blower motor and resistor are bad.
