Any ideas on what causes noisy fuel injectors? Seems like in the past they were quiet, and now they make clicking noise/just louder then it used to be.

Anything I can do to tune them to run quieter or maybe replace a noisy one?

Are you 100% sure it is the injectors?

As far as I know the only fix would be to replace them.

 

TECH, are you thinking that perhaps it's the lifters?

Yes that is what I am thinking. Actually bad Oil Pan O-rings.

 

Thanks Tech. I do not know that they are the injectors....just sounds like a clicking or ticking noise that was not there 2 years ago, but is very much there now.

Are the Orings difficult to change? I attempt only what I think I can handle.

Try a synthetic oil change first.
