This is on a 2000 S70 GLT with roughly 120000 miles. This started yesterday when I start the car the oil light comes on, if I rev the motor it will go off then come back on when I'm off the throttle. When I go to drive the light will go off. No lifter noise or anything out of the normal.
Faulty oil pressure sensor or sludge in the pan?
I've got an appoint for the dealer on Wed. but would like to have an idea what it is.

My guess would be bad oil pan o-rings.
The sensors usually don't go bad.
