There is a plastic like part that connect to a vacuum line that comes from the pcv and goes to the right of the radiator and goes all the way almost underneath the car,does anyone know what,s it,s called.

it looks like some sort of filter the part # on it say

For some reason TCV pops into my head, but that doesn't sound right.

 

That's an EVAP purge filter... keeps any particles that may be in the EVAP stream from getting into the engine with the purge. Kinda unique to Volvos. You don't need to do anything with it.

 

ok,Mine is very black and dirty, it seems ,is there a way I can clean that filter
or will it make the car run bad if it,s clogged or very dirty.
