Default proud new owner of a 2000 S70

I have joined you crazy volvo owners, I already own a lexis and mercedes 560sl, now I just bought a turbo S70 to drive to work, my wife is trying to trade me her lexis for it, we took it into town, at first she did not like it, but the more we drove it, she fell in lust with it. Read the manual, took forever to figure the a/c controls and the trip odometer computer. finally figured out where to find the tire psi amounts(gas door) and how to adjust the seats. I have the original window sticker and service records, the last entry is in 2006 at 90k, also found a sticker the timing belt was changed at 102k, the car now has 125k on it. All ready have issues, a light bulb in the rear needs replacing, the manuel does a good job of showing the fix. I am having a hard time figuring out when the turbo boost kicks in, or maybe it is made not to know. Trying to figure out why any one would need head light washers and wipers? anyway looking forward for a long and happy relationship with this beast.

I think you like many of the other Volvo owners will have a happy "Love-Hate relationship with your Volvo", hope you like working on cars as you will likely need to on this one.
cheers

Welcome! My GLT made me get my T-5R. I really like the GLT.

There is no turbo boot gauge stock, it can be added. You know that it's working, you can feel the boost. Especially in the S transmission mode.

The headlight wipers come in handy when driving in snow (AWSOME). They work with the windshield washer system.

Don't let your wife sweet talk you out of it. Better yet, just get another one. T-5 for you. LOL

I don't agree with Delirous, Just a Love relationship with me. Not much work to do.

Check the PCV system.
