Default Questions on my Volvo S70

I was accelerating on the freeway and noticed that air suddenly came through the vents. I had my switch on so outside air isn't allowed to come in. Now it doesn't work at all, regardless whether I have it switched on or off air comes through. This was a huge problem for me, in LA it was 100+ degrees and the hot air outside completely defeated the purpose of my A/C.

Another question...My A/C has not been very cold lately. What exactly do I do to fix this? Do I need to put freon? Or get the AC recharged?

The freon level might be low.
Where do you have your Air mix **** by the vents set to?

There is a port under the hood behind the passenger side headlight. That is where freon is added.
